Ισλανδία είναι ένα θέμα το οποίο θα σε απασχολήσει αρκετά αν δεν προετοιμαστείς
κατάλληλα. Όπως έχουμε αναφέρει και σε άλλο μας <a href="https://www.whatabouttravel.com/destinations/Iceland/Road_trip_to_Iceland" target="_blank">άρθρο</a>, η Ισλανδία είναι
μια αρκετά αραιοκατοικημένη χώρα γεγονός που δυσκολεύει τις επιλογές για φαγητό
σε οποιοδήποτε σημείο της. Επιπλέον, είναι και η 2η πιο ακριβή χώρας
της Ευρώπης, οπότε καταλαβαίνεις ότι το φαγητό τους, αν και είναι αρκετά
νόστιμο, είναι και αρκετά ακριβό. Εμείς κάναμε το γύρο του νησιού με
τροχόσπιτο, οπότε είχαμε φροντίσει να προμηθευτούμε αρκετά προϊόντα από το&nbsp; super market για να μειώσουμε το

food. Εδώ θα βρεις οικονομικά σάντουιτς
αλλά και fish
&amp; chips με πολύ φρέσκο ψάρι. Αν και ο ιδιοκτήτης
είναι λίγο ειρωνικός, θα σου προτείναμε να αδιαφορήσεις γιατί το φαγητό είναι
πολύ καλό.

·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Pylsuvagninn: Θα βρεις μόνο τοπικό hot
dog. Σε αυτό που διαφέρει με τα γνωστά hot dog είναι ότι το λουκάνικο έχει μέσα
3 κρέατα, μοσχάρι, χοιρινό και αρνί. Καταλαβαίνεις τη διαφορά στο κρέας και θα
το χαρακτηρίζαμε αρκετά ενδιαφέρον.

Food
in Iceland is an issue that will trouble you enough if you don’t prepare
yourself suitably. As we have already mentioned in another <a href="https://www.whatabouttravel.com/en-US/destinations/Iceland/Road_trip_to_Iceland" target='_blank'>article</a>, Iceland
is a scarcely populated country which makes it harder to find choices for food
at any point. Moreover, it is the 2nd most expensive country of Europe,
so you can understand that their food, even though it is delicious, is also
quite expensive. We drove around the island with a camper van, so we had
already taken care of providing ourselves with enough products from the super
market to reduce the cost. You can read our story in regard to this here.

To begin with, we
cite here a table in which we depict all the local tastes that you can try in

Bread that they make, a type of bread that is baked for 24 hours inside the

A food place at the Vik village. Here you will eat delicious soups, like the

also see an old yellow school bus. Don’t be afraid, it’s not a thriller. It’s a

You can have a coffee and taste enough of the Icelandic desserts and bakery

Moe’s food:
Canteen with street food. Here you will find sandwiches in affordable prices but
also fish &amp; chips with really fresh fish. Even though the owner of the
place is a little bit ironic, we would suggest to ignore him as the food is
really good there.

·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Pylsuvagninn: Here you will only
find local hot dog. What is different from the regular hot dogs is that the
sausage in the sandwich contains 3 types of meat, beef, pork and lamb. You can
feel the difference in taste in regard to the different types of meat and we
would characterize it as a quite interesting choice.
